Yes! Chicken salt does not contain gluten. It does contain Monosodium glutamate (flavour enhancer 621) but there is no gluten in MSG and so can be eaten by people with coeliac disease.
Be aware our Kentuckiana Seasoned Salt does contain gluten. Both salts are stored separately and do not come into contact with each other.
Is VAT added?
Chicken salt is classified by HMRC under VAT Notice 701/14 Section 3.2 as being ZR (Zero-Rate) under Salt for Culinary Use. Zero-Rate means VAT is not applicable. We do not apply VAT to our invoices.
Is Chicken Salt vegetarian?
Yes! Chicken Salt is vegetarian. Chicken salt is not vegan as animal products were used to refine one of the ingredients.
How do I store it?
Both our salts come in a food grade stand up pouch with an airtight Mylar resealable zip lock. This will keep it fresh.
Our Kentuckana Seasoned Salt does not come with an anti-caking agent. Keep this seasoning sealed in the supplied pouch and strictly limit exposure to air by flattening the pouch before sealing. It may cake (form lumps) with exposure to air but flatten the packet to remove them!
I’d like to buy in bulk. Is this available?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal and credit / debit cards via our website. We also accept credit and debit cards via PayPal if you wish.
I’ve changed my mind. Can I have a refund?

Do you allow returns?
